New Poll Shows Accult Gatherings On The Rise...

Coming soon… to my place… the much feared and dreaded… poker night. Those of you who follow this site and know where I live may join myself, my friend Bobby, my brother Charles, Bobby’s girlfriend Christina, several of Christina’s friends, and a few others for some 5 Card Draw and Texas Hold’em (no wilds). We’re clearing out all the damn change we’ve been lugging around so it’s silver only (nickels, dimes, and quarters), there will be food (I’ll probably get a couple of pizza’s from ‘The Burb’), but I’m running low on booze, and don’t have the cash to ‘buy everybody a few rounds’, so there will only be soda to drink. For those who need directions to my place… well, sucks for you, unless you know how to go about getting a hold of me, you aren’t going to get them.

My Brain Hurts...

So I was looking at the 'Lastest Published' thing on the Blogger Website and saw "Hot Abercrombie Chick!" on the list. Catching my attention and thinking dear god what spoiled 12 year old is publishing pure stupidity now, I braved the waters and click the link, 'just for kicks'. I was both shocked and amazed, the site belonged to a college freshman majoring in philosophy. In addition to being really freaking hot, she is using her blog for a very unique concept, a giant discussion board. I dunno, maybe I'm rambling still stunned at what started as blatant cynnasisim, and has turned into serious provoking thought. Her latest post is dealing with, "the philosophical/psychological view that mental states (things like: the experience of being in pain, feeling emotions, thinking about something, etc.) are the same as brain states (having particular parts of your brain stimulated in particular ways)." Now, as much as I'd like to say that I fully understand this, even after having read her posting about 4 times, I still feel as though I've been bashed in the head with a decent sized flounder or maybe a pike. It's some complex stuff, I mean here I thought that my term paper on the underlying philosopihes within the the movie "The Matrix" was a good read, this girl's site is well if you'll pardon the pun, mind-blowing. I dunno, maybe I've just spent too much time away from the books and class rooms, my mind dulled, now where near the diamond edge it once was. God, I need to get back to school.

P.s. For those who don't know, the little thing below this '_________ Loves Me' is my new comment system, care of haloscans.com.

Happy!! Happy!! Joy!! Joy!!

So, quick update, got the car back, it's not perfect, but it'll have to do. At this point I can't risk putting it back into the shop, my goal for this week is to get to Margie's game friday night before tip-off. John says it's about a half hour from the office, so I'm hoping that I'll get directions (I've no idea where this place is...) and get my sorry butt out of the office on time. In case you can't tell I really, really, really (feel free to insert more really's in there) like this girl, and it's been quite some time since I've been this excited about anything.

As a side note:

Margie,
Christina told me about the whole 'does-he-not-like-me-anymore-cause-he-didn't-call-me' thing, allow me to alleviate (I guess thats the best way to describe it) as to my not calling you yesterday:

1) I really (yeah that really thing again) like you, and I'm really... looking forward to friday
2) My cell has crapped out, gotta fix it
3) I forgot... ::on knees begging:: please for give me...
4) I bet your really sensing the sarcasm in the "::on knees begging::" part...
5) j/k about #4

Many Grrr's, my freaking eye is twitching and I can't get it to stop... need either sleep or an injection of pure caffine... where did I put that tweleve pack of Dr. Pepper...

My Ass Is Sore...

Sitting here at work hoping that by sitting here and typing this time will pass much much faster. Office jobs suck, it's so freaking boring, I get here, do all the stuff that I need to do for the day in about 3 hours, then I sit and answer the phone (which rarely rings) for about an hour. At this point it's lunch time so I go take a nice leisurely hour long lunch, only to have to return to the office and sit until 5. I may be making a hell of a lot more money than I did when I was working at the cafe, but I at least had social interaction there. The people here are a bunch of social retards, none of them talk about anything, not even the freaking news, they just show up work and then go home. I mean being a marketing rep. for a computer networking company is great, I get all my parts for my rig really freaking cheap out of the warehouse, I get to actually stop to eat breakfast and lunch at respectable times instead of going from 5 AM to 3 PM hoping that I'll get 5 minutes to grab a drink. I get to travel and I don't have to worry about paying for it, hell most of my expendatures are on a company account. I don't even pay for my gas any more!!! On the down side, I do nothing but demeaningly repetive tasks, there is no socialization, and most everyone I work with is over the age of 30.

To top off the crappy-ness of my day I've got to call Margie and tell her that I won't be able to make it to her basketball game this friday night 'cause my ghetto car is in the shop AGAIN...

Back In The Saddle Again...

Well it was certainly an interesting week, went to Savannah and installed a fiber optic network in a medium security prison, was blown off by the one person that I was looking forward to seeing all week, but was compensated by getting to know someone else.

Margie is really freaking cute, even if she stands about 7-8 inches over me, I mean to be honest it really didn't even bother me. I'm just glad to see that there are people out there who are genuinely interested in who I am.

The evening was practically jammed into my face when I got back Thursday night, Christina went ahead and made plans that we would all meet up at her basketball game and then go our separate ways. Unfortunately, Margie's mom called Christina or something, and a question as to my driving abilities arose and we all ended up having to ride along in one car... So we dropped Charles at his friends house and the evening basically became a double date, we ordered a couple piazza's from 'The Burb' and headed back to my place and just had a nice quite evening.

I still can't get over how cute she is...
