Mood: So weird you don't wanna know...
"So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field
from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?...
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
swimming in a fish bowl, year after year.
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here..."
-- Pink Floyd "Wish you Were Here"
Though this song was written about their first singer who became mentally unstable and was placed into a mental institution, I'm beginning to completely understand it's meaning. Look at me, I'm fucking pathetic, I'm trying to pass a message to someone who probably doesn't want to even hear my name. God, I hate this, I hate who I am, what I'm doing and what I've done. I hate the person who I've become, this pessimistic shell of a human being. It's funny you know how we never fully see the wrongs that we do until it's far too late.
